Follow I Am Di One in Saint Cecelia Trophy

Leading trainer Anthony Nunes’ 1000 Guineas winner, I AM DI ONE, is a hot ante-post favourite for Wednesday’s six-and-a-half furlong  Saint Cecelia Trophy for open allowance horses at Caymanas Park.

A winner of three races from four starts, I AM DI ONE faces five rivals including stablemates EXHILARATE and HOUDINI’S MAGIC. A big filly, I AM DI ONE won on her March 23 debut at six furlongs before beating LADY BLUE at a mile in the 1000 Guineas. She finished third in the Jamaica Oaks at 10 furlongs in May behind PRINCESS ANNIE, caught inside the last furlong after trying to make all.

Since then, I AM DI ONE rebounded with a strong victory at nine furlongs and 25 yards, beating stablemate DONTAE. Taking on speedsters CHACE THE GREAT and ZEPHYR, I AM DI ONE will depend on her stablemate, EXHILARATE, to keep them honest before she pounces with champion jockey Anthony Thomas.

The Saint Cecelia Trophy  runs off at 2:35 pm as the sixth event. First post for the 11-race card is 11:45 am.
