Extended water supply disruption for some NWC St James customers

The National Water Commission (NWC) has advised its customers who are served by the Cambridge Treatment Plant in St James that an ongoing disruption in their water supply is due to mechanical challenges at the facility.

The commission has indicated that it is working to resolve the challenges and restore the water supply by January 20.

The affected communities include Bickersteth, Seven Rivers, Richmond Hill, Shortwood, Cambridge, Cambridge proper, Ducketts, Greenwich, Grange, Bethel Town, Argyle Mountain and Lambs River.

The NWC has apologized for the inconvenience and asked for the patience and understanding of the affected customers.
