Eppley, Salada Foods led gains during Tuesday’s trading

Eppley Limited (EPLY) led gains on Tuesday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE). EPLY gained 20.84 per cent to close at $10.09, followed by Salada Foods Jamaica Ltd. (SALF) up 12.46 per cent to close at $14.62.
The day’s largest decline was Jamaica Broilers Group (JBG) down 5.37 per cent to close at $20.25.
The JSE Combined Index declined by 927.81 points (0.30 per cent) to close at 304,727.90.
The JSE Index declined by 979.37 points (0.33 per cent) to close at 296,782.29. The Junior Market Index declined by 2.51 points (0.09 per cent) to close at 2,919.64. The JSE USD Equities Index closed at 173.22.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 52 stocks of which 18 advanced, 21 declined and 13 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 30,739,358 units valued at over $380,746,680.85.
Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited was the volume leader with 14,960,000 units (48.67 per cent) followed by Jamaica Broilers Group with 11,507,048 units (37.43 per cent) and K.L.E. Group Limited with 1,416,905 units (4.61 per cent) .
