Eppley led double-digit gains during Tuesday's trading

Eppley Limited led double-digit gains during Tuesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

The stock gained 27.2 per cent to close at $15.75. It was followed by Consolidated Bakeries up 13 per cent to $1.99. Pulse Investments led declines down 15.5 per cent to $2.50.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 35.78 points ( 0.01 per cent) to close at 438,992.99.

The JSE Index declined by 84.25 points ( 0.02 per cent) to close at 440,398.66. The Junior Market Index advanced by 3.83 points ( 0.12 per cent) to close at 3,133.31. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 0.23 points ( 0.12 per cent) to close at 189.34. The JSE Financial Index advanced by 0.29 points ( 0.25 per cent) to close at 114.10.

The overall Market activity resulted from trading in 64 stocks of which 27 advanced, 28 declined and 9 traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 43,027,031 units valued at over $339,101,417.14. Wigton Windfarm was the volume leader with 37,462,288 units (87.07 per cent) followed by Proven Investments with 8,765,244 units (20.4 per cent) and NCB Financial Group with 1,429,495 units (3.3 per cent) .
