Eppley up double digits to lead trading gains on Monday

Eppley and Consolidated Bakeries (Purity) increased by double-digit levels to lead gains in Monday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
The stock gained 18.8 per cent to close at an even $12.
Purity gained 15 per cent to close at $2.87.
The Combined Index advanced by 237.83 points (0.09 per cent) to close at 254,005.52. The JSE Index declined by 75.03 points ( 0.03 per cent) to close at 236,529.34.
The Junior Market Index advanced by 29.26 points (0.88 per cent) to close at 3,369.56. The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 14.92 points (6.75 per cent) to close at 206.19.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 50 stocks of which 21 advanced, 20 declined and nine traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 3,236,766 units valued at over $39,628,920.74. JMMB Group Limited 7.50 per cent was the volume leader with 526,200 units followed by Eppley Limited with 451,928 units and Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited with 292,756 units.
