Entrepreneurs were advised of strategies using data and analytic resources to drive growth at their companies, at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) Small Business Marketing Event held at the UCC campus recently.

The event focused on small business owners, and provided strategies and resources that business owners can use to communicate effectively with existing and prospective customers.

Under the theme, 'Think DATA, Drive Business Growth', the event featured exhibitions, panel discussions and presentations from successful entrepreneurs and business leaders such as Trend Media CEO Aileen Corrigan, Continental Baking Company boss Gary "Butch" Hendrickson and Chairman of the Joint Committee of Tertiary Education, Dr Cecil Cornwall

Also in attendance were business students from several schools including CASE, Belair High and UCC.

The interactive panel discussion focused on how entrepreneurs could harness data to drive business growth and featured Gordon Swaby, CEO EduFocal, Andre Wedderburn, Head of Media Operations at Trend, and Leesha Delatie-Budhair, Director of Research, Design & Evaluation at STATIN.
