Double murder in St Catherine North

The bodies of two unidentified men were found along the Barry main Road in rural St Catherine on Sunday morning.

Reports are that about 7:15 a.m., the bodies were discovered about two feet from apart on the roadway.

The men were lying on their bellies with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the heads.

Two spent shells were recovered from beside the bodies.

The deceased are both believed to be in their mid-20s, with one being of medium build, about five feet 10 inches tall, and of clear complexion.

He was clad in a white long sleeve T-shirt, grey plaid underpants, white shorts, white Bobby socks and black Adidas slippers.

The other deceased is of slim build, clear complexion, about five feet nine inches tall, and was clad in grey jeans pants, white T-shirt and black Desert Clarks shoes.

The St Catherine North police, in whose division a state of emergency is in place, are investigating the incident.
