Don ‘Dada’ no more! Most wanted Clansman 'killed by his cronies'
Amid reports of heavy infighting among some members of the notorious Clansman gang operating out of Spanish Town, St Catherine, the gang’s most feared and wanted enforcer on the ground has been killed, seemingly by his own cronies.
Police on Thursday confirmed that the deceased, Germaine Graham, alias ‘Dada’, was the most wanted figure in the parish of St Catherine at the time of his death.
The ranking came to an abrupt end when his body was found in bushes in Duncan's Pen, Spanish Town on Monday.
The body was wrapped in a tarpaulin with a bullet wound to the head.
The discovery was made at a camp site that Graham and other members of the gang reportedly used as a base for their nefarious activities.
Reports are that the discovery came after residents of the community heard explosions and called the police.
A search by law enforcers led to the body being found in the bushes.
Investigators so far believe Graham was killed by his own cronies.
Indications are that his killers were moving to burn the body, but their objective was not realised.
‘Dada’ was heavily on the radar of the St Catherine North police, and was wanted for multiple murders and shootings mainly in Spanish Town over recent years.
He was also notably wanted for the shooting death of his former girlfriend earlier this year, and also for shooting his brother.
Investigations continue into his death.
