Dolphin Cove led double-digit gains during Tuesday's trading
Dolphin Cove led double-digit gains on Tuesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
The company gained 11.83 per cent to close at $13.99 with limited volumes of 314 units, while Kingston Wharves (KW) $7.69 up to close at $70.12.
Meanwhile, GWest Corporation Limited (GWEST) declined by 7.5 per cent to close at $1.48.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,941.50 points (0.50 per cent) to close at 386,430.48 and the JSE Index advanced by 2,041.20 points (0.53 per cent) to close at 383,583.75.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 2,246.27 points (0.54 per cent) to close at 421,015.95. The JSE Select Index advanced by 9.68 points (0.10 per cent) to close at 9,648.43.
The JSE Cross Listed Index closed at 100.46. The Junior Market Index advanced by 6.08 points (0.20 per cent) to close at 3,101.14. The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 0.21 points (0.12 per cent) to close at 179.86.
The JSE Financial Index declined by 0.23 points (0.23 per cent) to close at 98.31.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 53 stocks of which 20 advanced, 25 declined and 8 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 12,517,696 units valued at over $182 million. Indies Pharma Jamaica Limited was the volume leader with 7,319,465 units (58.47per cent) followed by GraceKennedy with 1,667,776 units (13.3 per cent) and Express Catering Limited with 619,086 units (4.95per cent).
