District constable accidentally shoots two police officers in Hanover

Two police officers were reportedly shot and injured on the job Friday morning when a district constable's firearm accidentally went off at the Ramble Police Station in Hanover.

Loop News understands that a woman constable and a sergeant were the two cops shot and injured. One was reportedly shot in the chest, while the other was said to have been grazed by a bullet.

Their conditions are not considered life threatening.

The Independent Commission of Investigation  (INDECOM) has launched a probe into the incident.
