Romario Brown, the 21-year-old who has been charged with the murder of popular fashion designer Dexter Pottinger, is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court today.
Brown, a welder and tattoo artist of Rocky Valley, Stony Hill in St Andrew, was charged with Pottinger’s murder earlier this month after the fashion designer’s body was found at his Yarico Place, Kingston 20 home with multiple stab wounds.
The decomposing body was found at about 5:20 p.m. on August 31, reportedly with several stab wounds to the back.
Pottinger’s Honda CR-V motor vehicle, which was missing, was later found intact in the Stony Hill area.
Pottinger had reportedly bailed Brown, who had been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, just two days before the fashion designer’s body was found.
Brown has also been implicated in the April 8, 2016 murder of Alexa Bepatt, a woman with whom he was reportedly intimately involved, who was found partially naked and unconscious at her home in Mona, St Andrew.
