In a gesture of good well to COVID-19 front liners at both the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) and Kingston Public Hospital (KPH), Scoops Unlimited Limited, manufacturers of the world famous Devon House ice cream have brought cheer to nurses at the institutions.

The Scoops /Devon House ice cream mobile van in June, pulled up at UHWI and surprised 100 nurses with the treat.

Then in celebration of National Nurses Week, July 19 to 25 the Scoops/Devon House ice cream mobile made its way through the gates of the KPH and presented eight gallons of ice cream to the nurses on duty there.

“We know how much of a challenge these past four months have been on the health sector and we just wanted to bring a smile to the faces of those who have been working long hours, in trying circumstances,” said Carol Clarke Webster, Managing Director of Scoops Unlimited.
