Derrimon Trading led gains during Tuesday’s trading

Derrimon Trading led gains on Tuesday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Derrimon gained 23 per cent to close at $8.00 followed by Main Event up 8.2 per cent to $5.95 and Proven USD up 6.8 per cent to US$0.22.
The day's top loser went to Cable & Wireless down 7.3 per cent to close at $1.01.
The JSE Combined Index declined by 205.33 points (0.07 per cent) to close at 295,989.37.
The JSE Index declined by 589.13 points (0.21 per cent) to close at 286,276.31.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 646.61 points (0.21 per cent) to close at 314,205.01. The Junior Market Index advanced by 30.97 points (1.04 per cent) to close at 3,003.68.
The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 6.40 points (3.95 per cent) to close at 168.30.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 41 stocks of which 18 advanced, 12 declined and 11 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 30,077,229 units valued at over $764.5 million. Supreme Ventures Limited was the volume leader with 13,895,672 units (46.2 per cent) followed by JMMB Group Limited 7.50 per cent with 6,272,469 units (20.85 per cent) and NCB FINANCIAL GROUP LIMITED with 5,452,901 units (18.13 per cent).
