Derrimon, Pulse record strong gains during Monday's trading

Derrimon Trading Limited and Pulse led gains during Monday’s spirited trading on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Most of the gains of the day came from junior market stocks.
Derrimon gained 27 per cent to close at $1.85 and Pulse gained 25 per cent to close at $2.83.
The leading declining stock was First Rock Capital down 17.5 per cent to US$0.07. The JSE Combined Index advanced by 6,584.42 points (1.86 per cent) to close at 360,592.30.
The JSE Index advanced by 5,877.33 points (1.63 per cent) to close at 365,560.29. The Junior Market Index advanced by 108.72 points (5.07 per cent) to close at 2,252.80.
The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 0.20 points (0.10 per cent) to close at 197.33.
The JSE Financial Index advanced by 1.82 points (1.84 per cent) to close at 100.54.
The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 0.22 points (0.33 per cent) to close at 66.69.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 81 stocks of which 51 advanced, 19 declined and 11 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 37,761,952 units valued at over $131,705,506.73. Transjamaican Highway Limited was the volume leader with 15,002,370 units (39.73per cent) followed by Wigton Windfarm with 5,833,576 units (15.45per cent) and Caribbean Producers Jamaica with 5,133,280 units (13.59per cent) .
