Derrimon, FosRich led gains during Tuesday’s trading

Derrimon Trading and FosRich led gains on Tuesday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

Derrimon gained 13.5 per cent to close at $22 which represents an all-time high for the stock which started the year at $7.91. It was followed by FosRich which gained 11 per cent to close at $2.88.

The top declining stock went to Blue Power Group down 9.3 per cent to close at $43.51, while the JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,214.73 points (0.39 per cent) to close at 316,703.77.

The JSE Index advanced by 747.69 points (0.24 per cent) to close at 308,028.64. The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 820.63 points (0.24 per cent) to close at 338,079.54, while the JSE Select Index advanced by 119.20 points (1.30 per cent) to close at 9,263.28.

The Junior Market Index advanced by 47.89 points (1.58 per cent) to close at 3,069.40, while the JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 2.02 points (1.34 per cent) to close at 152.41.

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 54 stocks of which 28 advanced, 13 declined and 13 traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 9,917,252 units valued at over $115.9 million. WISYNCO Group was the volume leader with 3,436,668 units (34.65per cent) followed by Key Insurance Company Limited with 1,501,000 units (15.14per cent) and Jamaica Broilers Group with 1,004,631 units (10.13per cent).
