The St Andrew North police are reporting that two of the three suspects who were recently arrested in relation to the murder of a man and the shooting of four persons in Stony Hill, St Andrew earlier this month, have been charged.
Charged with murder, wounding with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition are 22-year-old Deshante Dunkley, alias 'Chukel', of Stony Hill, St Andrew, and a teenager whose particulars cannot be publicly released.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) confirmed the charges on Wednesday afternoon through its Twitter account.
Allegations are that on Wednesday, February 12, at about 6.30 am, the accused approached a group of men standing in Stony Hill Square and opened gunfire, hitting them.
When the shooting subsided, 26-year-old Shamari Waul of Golden Spring, St Andrew and four other men were found with gunshot wounds.
