Cop under probe for possible links to illegal scheme at police station

A policeman attached to the Constant Spring Police Station is under investigation for his possible connection to an underground scheme that involves persons removing parts from vehicles that are left at the pound of the police station.

Reports reaching Loop News are that the cop was taken in custody following a probe at the facility two days ago.

Full details of the development are not clear at this time but information reaching Loop News is that two men believed to be involved in the illegal operation were caught last week trying to leave the police station with two headlights and other parts that were reportedly removed from vehicles at the facility.

The men were held and taken into custody. Following further investigations the policeman was also apprehended.

Police sources told Loop News that the policeman is accused of conspiring with two civilians to scrap vehicles at the pound situated at the police station.

More details later.
