Cop among two allegedly held with cocaine and $1 million in cash

Two persons, including a policeman, were taken into custody in connection with the seizure of about one kilogram of cocaine and $1 million in cash, by the police in Manchester on Friday afternoon.

According to a Loop News source, during an anti-narcotics operation carried out by members of the Manchester police and the Narcotics Division at about 4:30 p.m., a motorcar was intercepted and searched along the Porus main road in Manchester.

During the search of the vehicle, the drugs and cash were seized, and the two occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.

The Narcotics police are investigating the matter.
