Corporate sponsors of the 20th anniversary staging of the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run are throwing their full support behind the fundraising initiatives by Sagicor to help raise funds to meet its $50M target for the 2018 Sigma beneficiaries.
Last Friday, dubbed “Crazy Tie Day”, saw team members across several corporate entities dressed to impress in their unique tie creations in support of Sigma Run. All in the spirit of fun and charity, persons were asked to donate $200 towards the cause.
This year, the Spanish Town Hospital Special Care/Neonatal Unit and the St. Christopher’s School for the Deaf will benefit from all proceeds raised from the run; this includes monies from registration, tent rental, purchases made from the new Sigma Run pop-up store, as well as contributions from fundraising activities such as the Crazy Tie Day.

“We are truly appreciative of the overwhelming support the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run receives year after year from our corporate partners, groups and individuals; without their participation and continued contribution we would not be able to give back to these institutions that are in need of help”, said Alysia White, Assistant Vice President, Group Marketing, Sagicor Group Jamaica.
Over the past two decades the charity run has raised some $300M for child and health related institutions.
