Jamaica Broilers Group has announced the retirement of Dr Claudette Cooke as the Vice-President of Human Resource and Public Relations and the resignation of Rochelle Cameron as assistant vice president.

Cooke served at Jamaica Broilers Group for 27 years. 

“While stepping down from her executive function with the group, Dr Cooke will continue to serve on the Board of Directors and commence her new role as Executive Director of the Jamaica Broilers Group Foundation on September 1, 2019,” Ian Parsard, Vice-President Finance at the company advised. 

Rochelle Cameron resigned to pursue other opportunities. 

Cameron resigned as Assistant Vice President – Human Resource Development & Public Relations effective July 31 to pursue other opportunities.

“She was a respected member of our team with an infectious energy that will surely be missed. We do however respect her decision and pray for her continued success,” Parsard told Loop News. 

He said the changes present significant opportunities to staff from within JBG to grow and develop into senior management and executive roles in the future.

In the meantime, Lennox Channer, Group Vice President – Accounting, will have a new addition to his portfolio. As of August 1, 2019, he will function as Group Vice President – Accounting & Administration, with added responsibility for the Human Resource function.
