CISOCA searching for taxi operator for sexual assault of 11-year-old

The Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) and the Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have intensified their search for a St James taxi operator wanted in connection with the sexual assault of an 11-year-old schoolgirl two weeks ago in St James.

The cabbie has been identified as 47-year-old Donald Anthony Reid, who plies Cornwall Court to Montego Bay route.

Detective Sergeant Eulette Lewis-Green is appealing to Reid to turn himself in to the police, in the company of his lawyer.

At the same time, Sergeant Green is warning citizens to call the police if they know Reid's whereabouts, warning that it is a crime to offer refuge to wanted persons.

"We want to remind the family members and friends of Mr Reid that it is in fact an offence to harbour a wanted person," Sergeant Green appealed.
