Barbican man arrested for alleged sex with minor

The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) on Saturday arrested and charged a 23-year-old man, Junior Bines, for allegedly having had sex with a minor.

Bines, who is of a Barbican, St Andrew address, allegedly had sexual intercourse with the minor in the community at about 8pm on January 1, 2018.

The matter was reported to the police and after investigating, Bines was subsequently arrested and placed before an identification parade, where he was pointed out.

He was questioned in the presence of his attorney before being charged, and is to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Monday, March 23.
