Christopher Mamdeen looks set to star again at Caymanas Park

Claiming apprentice, Christopher Mamdeen could follow up his four-timer from Wednesday with three winners on Saturday as he seeks to overhaul six-time former champion jockey, Omar Walker, atop the jockeys’ standings.

Mamdeen, who is aboard ante-post favourite, SENDAMESSAGETOMAMA, in the Jockey’s Guild Trophy co-feature, has so far tallied 21 winners, trailing Walker by three.

The two-kilo claiming apprentice is also astride maiden BLU ATTITUDE in the third and Philip Feanny’s speedy MY SUPER GIRL in the sixth.

BLU ATTITUDE ‘s main threat is speedy MOTHER NATURE, with female rider Natalie Berger. MOTHER NATURE, a short runner, is giving improving BLU ATTITUDE nine pounds with both drawn on the faster stands’ side in the five-furlong straight race.

MY SUPER GIRL makes her return after finishing outside the frame as the 1-5 favourite in the New Year’s Day Trophy. She has sparkled at exercise with a bullet work, 1:06.3 for five and a half, on March 15.

Meanwhile, SENDAMESSAGETOMAMA has been keeping quality company among non-winners-of-two and faces his weakest field since graduating from the maiden three-year-old ranks last September.

Post time for the Jockey’s Guild Trophy co-feature, the night pan, is 5:50 p.m.

First post for the 11-race card is noon.
