Christmas in July: Check out these unique Jamaican companies

The wait is over - Christmas in July is here!

The 5th staging of the now annual Christmas in July event is lighting up the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston today (July 18) under the theme, Buy Jamaica, Build Jamaica.

Featuring an exhibition of locally-produced gifts and souvenir items, this is one extravaganza NOT to be missed! And everyone is invited to view the exhibits and place orders for some of Jamaica's finest goods.

One of the spectacular local companies with a display at the event is Antillean Charm, who boast a unique selection of wall décor and gifts featuring hand-sculpted life-like ceramic flora and fauna in solid wood boxes - all by Jamaican artist, Symerna Blake.

Check out their video below and come down to the Pegasus today to see the amazing products for yourself.

Another company on show at Christmas in July is The Running Man.

It manufacturers locally-produced clothes from sportswear to leisure wear - and they also specialize in African prints.

The Running Man design is a combination of the rasta man, the music, the food and the unique culture of Jamaica.

Check out the video below to see the products and find out more about this proudly Jamaican company.

The event is open to the public until 6pm.
