Police detectives need the public's help to identify a male suspect who lawmen said broke into into a premises off East Kings House Road in St Andrew and stole several items on Tuesday morning.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force shared a video of the incident on Facebook in hopes of finding the alleged thief.

"Help us locate this man who broke into a premises off East Kings House Road... and stole several items including two Samsung Flat Screen televisions and a MacBook," the JCF wrote in the caption.

The three minutes-long video shows a man wearing cap, shorts and slippers, and sporting a bag pack and gloves, entering the premises nonchalantly as if he was the rightful owner of the property.

He then walks up and down the corridor before ripping a television out of a wall and grabbing a laptop.

"If you can identify him, please contact the Police at 119, the nearest Police Station or through the Stay Alert App. Let's work together and #CatchAThief," the cops said.

The post by the JCF has attracted hundreds of comments and nearly 2,000 shares since Tuesday night. Watch the video below.
