Businessman chased and shot dead in St Andrew Loop News Created : 28 December 2017 Jamaica News A St Andrew business operator was on Thursday chased and shot dead by gunmen along Campbell's Boulevard off Waltham Park Road in the parish. The deceased has been identified as Delroy Williams. Reports are that at about 12:30 p.m., the business operator, said to be in his early 50s, was at his place of business when criminals went to the location. What took place thereafter has left some residents of the area in shock. "I was at the bar when two men came to the location and started to open fire," an alleged eyewitness told Loop News. The gunfire sent persons on the scene scampering for cover. When the criminals left, two persons, including Williams, were found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were rushed to hospital, where Williams was pronounced dead. The daring daylight attack left some of the residents weeping openly. "Have mercy, have mercy. Delroy dead! All now me caan believe it," said one woman while talking to a group of persons who were gathered a few metres from the scene of the crime.
