'Bunny' Shaw scores brace in French league opener

Reggae Girlz ace striker Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scored two goals Saturday in her debut with French club Girondins de Bordeaux.

Shaw's goals, in the 75th and 90th minutes, helped to propel   to a 4-1 win over FC Fleury 91 in their Division 1 Féminine season opener.

The 22-year-old signed a two-year contract with the French club in June, prior to the FIFA Women's World Cup in France. The outstanding striker has bagged 31 goals in 24 career games for the Reggae Girlz.

 Bordeaux, which placed fourth last season in the league, will next be in action against Gijon on September 7.
