British Airways offers special Spring time fare to London

Hurrah! The days are getting warmer in London - Spring is on its way. The city is shaking off the cold of winter as flowers bloom and outdoor living resumes. 

To celebrate and encourage travelers to enjoy the city at one of its loveliest times British Airways is offering a special fare of USD$1440 return inclusive of all taxes and fees in World Traveller Plus (premium economy cabin).

Customers can book between now and February 28, 2018, for travel from Kingston to London between April 20 - June 30, 2018.

Diane Corrie, British Airways’ Caribbean commercial manager, said: “Spring is on its way and will soon be in full bloom. It’s a beautiful time of year to visit London as the parks come to life and the streets bustle with activity. There’s lots to do for all interests and age groups.”

In April, visitors to London can look forward to Easter egg hunts and the London Marathon. The 26.2 mile race takes place on April 22 and is an event for professional and amateur runners, cheering crowds and fancy dress fund-raisers in some truly impractical outfits.

The River Thames’ Southbank features the Underbelly Festival between April 6 and September 30, 2018, with the best in circus, comedy and children’s shows and street food in a city-centre environment.

Green fingered garden lovers can enjoy the world-renowned Chelsea Flower Show in late May and The Hampton Court Flower Show in early July featuring the best in landscaping and garden design.

Sports lovers are not left out. The FA Cup Final in May for example, is the climax of English football’s biggest competition at London’s Wembley Stadium. Then, for the horse racing enthusiasts, there is the Royal Ascot in June with its Gold Cup followed by the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth stakes in July.

Foodies are in for a treat too – not only are there thousands of amazing restaurants in the city, but The Taste of London Festival brings together the best restaurants, celebrity chefs between June 13-17 for what has become a major highlight of the annual food calendar.
