Dancehall artiste Bridgez will head to mediation on November 9th with her alleged knife-wielding attacker after the male accused appeared in court recently to answer the charges.

She was injured in a well-publicised incident on Red Hills Road earlier this year where she was stabbed several times.

"Well, he begged my lawyer to go into mediation during the last court date so on November 9th,  we're supposed to meet with the mediator. If he pays me back for the damages he caused towards me and my car, then we can move on. If we don't come to an agreement, then we go back to court November 17th," Bridgez told Loop reporter Claude Mills.

Bridgez, during the night of July 7, reportedly had just pulled up to a popular pan chicken spot on Red Hills road to buy food when a motor vehicle parked in front of her. A man in the motor vehicle then asked her to move, but she told him to wait until she got her purchase of jerk chicken.

According the singer, the man then used a knife to break out her fog lights and stab up her car tyres, before stabbing her several times when she got out of the vehicle to confront him.

In the meantime, Bridgez will be releasing a video for her songs 'Unreal' produced by Cornelius Records and 'Pweddy Wine' produced by K Swizz.

"I just got my new video from my editor, so I am excited about its release," she said.
