A disgruntled motorist complains about high fuel prices during a recent Loop News vox pop.
Motorists and other consumers will be hit with big increases in the prices of gasoline, kerosene and all other petroleum products supplied by the state-owned oil refinery Petrojam, as of Thursday, August 2.
With a big increase of $2.60, E-10 87 will sell for $137.51 per litre while a litre of E-10 90 will be sold for $140.34.
At the same time, automotive diesel oil will go up by $2.85 per litre and will sell for $136.53.
There is also a sharp movement in the price of kerosene which is up $4.08. A litre of kerosene will now for $119.09.
In the meantime, propane cooking gas will go up by $2.97 to sell for $54.29, while butane will move up by $2.67 to sell for $62.31 per litre.
Retailers and marketing companies will add their respective mark-ups to the announced prices.
