Boys’ Town, Brown’s Town clash in Super League Friday night feature
Boys’ Town and Brown’s Town’s top-of-the-table clash will highlight the Magnum KSAFA Super League doubleheader at the Constant Spring Complex on Friday, beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Both teams have seven points after winning two and drawing one match in their three contests.
Boys’ Town, which were demoted from the Premier League, drew their first match but had since recorded back-to-back wins, while Brown’s Town, last year’s beaten finalists, opened with two wins before being held to a draw in their last game.
Michael Campbell captains the Colour Reds and has key attacking support from Javani Campbell, Raheem Porter, and Anthony Dawes, while Brown’s Town will rely on Dillon McEnnis and the unrelated Lewis’, Ramone and Ryan, who have already scored this season.
Their match is expected to be keenly contested and will precede the opening fixture between Central Kingston and Mountain View, which is set to get going at 6:30 p.m.
Central Kingston are also on a winning streak, having wrapped up all three points in the past two games. This contrasts with Mountain View, which drew their opening game against Santos FC but lost their last two matches.
Experienced campaigner Donovan Alvaranga, captain of Central Kingston, will headline his team’s charge, with support up front coming from Alvin Nelson and Ronaldo Henry, against the Jahmiah Pettigrew-coached Mountain View FC.
