Blue Power Group Limited (BPOW) led gains on Thursday's trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
The soap manufacturer gained 22.93 per cent to close at $36.88, followed by Pulse Investments Limited (PULS) up 11.25 per cent to close at $2.78.
The day’s largest decline was Caribbean Flavours & Fragrances Limited (CFF) down 13.32 per cent to close at $9.70.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 157.32 points (0.05 per cent) to close at 304,885.22. The JSE Index declined by 71.81 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 296,710.48. The Junior Market Index advanced by 20.44 points (0.70 per cent) to close at 2,940.08.
The JSE USD Equities Index closed at 173.22. Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 50 stocks of which 21 advanced, 20 declined and 9 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 36,144,670 units valued at over $550,481,039.18. Jamaica Broilers Group was the volume leader with 22,755,531 units (62.96 per cent) followed by Key Insurance Company Limited with 5,228,000 units (14.46 per cent) and Supreme Ventures Limited with 3,202,706 units (8.86 per cent) .
