Blue Power, Ironrock, Kremi led gains during Tuesday's trading
Blue Power, Ironrock and Caribbean Cream (Kremi) led double-digit gains during Tuesday’s trading of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Blue Power gained 20 per cent to close at $6.00 followed by Ironrock up 11 per cent to close at $5.00 and Kremi up 10.7 per cent to close at $5.92.
Main Event Entertainment, on the other hand, led declines down 14.3 per cent to close at $5.63.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 60.83 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 375,055.90. The JSE Index advanced by 304.93 points (0.08 per cent) to close at 370,376.09. While the Junior Market Index declined by 19.89 points (0.62 per cent) to close at 3,169.67 and the JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 3.46 points (2.09 per cent) to close at 169.09.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 56 stocks of which 22 advanced, 27 declined and 7 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 4,027,769 units valued at over $45.0 million. Fontana was the volume leader with 2,096,413 units (52.05 per cent) followed by Scotia Group Jamaica with 216,870 units (5.38 per cent) and Caribbean Producers Jamaica with 203,515 units (5.05 per cent).
