Forty-one-year-old Damion Watt of Burnt Savannah, Westmoreland died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle collision along the Frome main road in the parish on Wednesday, March 6.
Reports from the Frome police are that about 1:53 a.m., Watt was travelling along the roadway when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving, and crashed into a motorcar that was travelling in the opposite direction.
The police were summoned and on their arrival, Watt was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the motorcar did not appear to have suffered any injury.
