‘Biggs’, ‘Junior’ charged after allegedly stealing bike in Trelawny

Two men who were nabbed in connection with the robbery of a courier’s motorcycle on the Jackson Town main road in Trelawny on Wednesday, April 8, have been charged by the police in the parish.

Charged with robbery with aggravation are:

•            Tashwayne Ricketts, 25, otherwise called ‘Biggs’, of Seville Estate, St Ann.

•            Howard Gordon, 31, otherwise called ‘Junior’, a labourer of Edge Hill Road, St Ann.

 Reports from the Falmouth police are that about 9pm, Ricketts and Gordon allegedly robbed a delivery man of his motorcycle while he rode along the roadway.

The alleged robbers attempted to escape, but the Subaru Impreza motorcar they were travelling in was intercepted by the police.

They duo was charged after a question-and-answer session with investigators.

Their court date is being finalised by the police.
