Harvard University is offering a course in Jamaican Patois.
Harvard students can now participate in the individualized study of Jamaican Patois at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Jamaica continues to debate if patois should be taught in schools. Genesee Johnson is the Jamaican Patois Language Instructor from Christiana Manchester charged with willing Harvard students that want to learn about the Jamaican Creole as labelled by linguists.
