Barbadian jockey Simon Husbands guides Another Bullet to victory

ANOTHER BULLET, partnered by Barbadian Simon Husbands, on Saturday outfinished NUCLEAR FLIGHT to win the St Catherine Cup at five and a half furlongs.

Second to ANOTHER VIGOROUS in the December 29 Gladiator Trophy at seven furlongs, ANOTHER BULLET defied topweight 126lb to turn the tables on his recent conqueror, who finished third after being hindered shortly after the start.

ANOTHER BULLET chased NUCLEAR FLIGHT into the straight and pulled away  inside the last quarter-furlong after a duel, posting a fast 1:04.3.

Meanwhile, Shane Ellis rode two winners on the 10-race card including Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes runner-up, SUPREME SOUL, who won the fifth event for three-year-olds at seven furlongs.

A Soul Warrior half-brother to stablemate BIGDADDYKOOL, 1-5 favourite SUPREME SOUL tracked CUSTER and took over entering the straight, clocking a fast 1:26.0 for an eight and a half length win ahead of TRICKY ONE.

Ellis opened his account with 3-1 chance BALAZO, who chased and beat even-money favourite ZI BEAST at five furlongs straight in the second event.

Racing continues at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
