Apprentice Christopher Mamdeen reels off triple at Caymanas Park

Apprentice Christopher Mamdeen on Wednesday notched a three-timer at Caymanas Park to grab sole leadership of the jockeys' standings on 14 winners after starting the day locked on 11 wins with former champions Omar Walker and Trevor Simpson.

Mamdeen rode back-to-back winners to open the 10-race card, 2-1 chance AXLE ROD for trainer Richard Azan and WINX CHOICE at 8-5 for Steven Todd.

The three-kilo claimer closed his three-timer with an all-the-way victory astride 3-5 favourite, SUPERBOLT, in the James B Dawes Memorial for optional  $450,000 claimers at six and a half furlongs.

Meanwhile, Ian Parsard's KINGSMAN  clocked 1:20.1 on debut at six and a half furlongs.

Partnered by six-time former champion jockey, Omar Walker, 1-2 favourite KINGSMAN chased 49-1 outsider DISTANT STORM before taking over three furlongs out.

Turning for home with SCOOBERT in chase, KINGSMAN quickened away to win by two lengths, entering the last half-furlong on a 1:12.2 split as EXTRUDER ran on to claim second.
