Ash Wednesday 2020 will see the West Central Hope Foundation for the fourth consecutive year stage the Kitson Town Gospel Concert and Food Festival.
Held on the lawns of the Kitson Town Primary School, this calendar event promises to be its biggest staging to date.
According to Member of Parliament for St Catherine West Central, Dr Christopher Tufton the annual event symbolizes the coming together of a community through a shared expression of faith, regardless of political affiliation.
He further shared that the “The single goal of the West Central Hope Foundation is to effect social transformation and restoration for all the citizens of the community” and that “the gospel concert helps to do just that as it gives the foundation an opportunity to promote the importance of hope - a human virtue which drives personal and communal development.”
This year’s headline performers include Jermaine Edwards, Rhoda Isabella, George Nooks and Kukadoo who will continue the strong tradition of high praise and worship.
Gates for the event open at 4 pm, with showtime slated to begin at 5 pm. Sponsors include the Best Dressed Chicken and Wow Entertainment
