All set for Campion and PROVEN Wealth golf tournament on Saturday
Local golfers will have the opportunity to take home many great prizes, including airline tickets from Fly Jamaica in Campion College Home School Association’s Golf Tournament on Saturday at the Constant Spring Golf Club.
The tournament, which is presented in association with PROVEN Wealth and sanctioned by the Jamaica Golf Association, has a two-ball better ball full handicap format and is expected to feature some 48 men, ladies and mixed junior teams.
“We at PROVEN Wealth are truly delighted to be on board for this year’s staging of the HSA Golf Tournament, particularly because we know the impact that the funds raised will have. We are firmly committed to community development and recognize that this starts with the development of the nation’s young minds, through education along with social and soft skills,” said Michelle Tracey, Assistant Manager, Marketing – PROVEN Wealth.
Over 80 golfers are expected to compete in teams of two, for the Best Overall Team that will win tickets on Fly Jamaica.
Other team and individual prizes include: Weekends at Couples, Jamaica Inn, Jakes and Sandals resorts; gourmet meals at the Jamaica Pegaus, Cannonball Café, Tracks & Records; rounds of golf at Cinnamon Hill, White Witch, Tryall, Half Moon and Sandals Upton; and many other special gifts.
“The support for the tournament has been excellent,” said Tournament Chairperson Jodi Munn-Barrow, who is herself a Campionite and former top female golfer.
“Thanks to PROVEN Wealth and a host of generous sponsors we are looking forward to an exciting event and encourage not just Campionites but all local golfers to come out in support of education. And for those non-golfers, we have organized an after-tournament lyme lined up courtesy of DJ Bambino and KOOL 97FM.”
All proceeds from the event will be used to expand the 6th form block at the school.
