It’s her third time on the cover of the renowned fashion publication, and this time she gives special insight into her homeland and her passion for creating opportunities for others like her.
“Being able to use my platform to expand and diversify the African voice,” Lupita told VOGUE, “I feel very passionate about that. It feels intentional, meaningful.”
She later added, “There are certain cards that have been dealt me that I take on. I want to create opportunities for other people of colour because I’m fortunate enough to have a platform to do that."
