Aeronautical Telecommunication celebrates 40 years

Aeronautical Telecommunication Limited, AEROTEL has officially launched its 40th-anniversary celebrations with a church service.

The company which is a subsidiary of the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority has been a key part of keeping Jamaica’s airspace safe since August 1978.

General Manager, Howard Armstrong in his greeting said that the company is grateful to have made it to 40 years. He added, “on behalf of the company, I can say that we feel renewed, satisfied and ready to move on to the next 40.”

AEROTEL’s 40th celebrations will feature an essay writing competition open to 6th form and college students and will culminate in a grand banquet and awards ceremony in June this year.
