$3m in equipment for Cornwall Regional Hospital from MBJ Airports
The Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH) in Montego Bay, St James has is to receive $3 million worth of equipment from MBJ Airports Limited (MBJ), operators of the Sangster International Airport in the resort city.
The equipment include 10 beds, two vital sign monitors, two rolling stands and four infusion pumps.
Shane Munroe, Chief Executive Officer of MBJ, presented the beds that are on hand to Dr Derrick Harvey, Senior Medical Officer at CRH, on the grounds of the hospital on Thursday.
The remainder of the items are expected to be delivered to the hospital by the end of July.
Munroe said MBJ is honoured to be able to provide the items for the benefit of the people of Jamaica.
Harvey meanwhile, expressed appreciation for the gifts, which he said will go a far way in accommodating and treating patients.
