Netballer Shamera Sterling is among three more nominees added to the list for the RJR Sports Foundation 2018 Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Awards.
Track and field athlete Hansle Parchment and Shericka Jackson are the other nominees.
Highly-rated defender Sterling was MVP of England’s Elite netball season. Playing for the Loughborough Lightning in the 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague, the 22-year-old recorded an impressive 101 interceptions from just 18 games during the season.
She also had the most interceptions at the 2018 Commonwealth Games where she was a member of the bronze-medal-winning Sunshine Girls of Jamaica.
And Sterling was the 2018 MVP for the Netball Fast5 in Melbourne, Australia in October. The Sunshine Girls won the silver medal.
She was recently signed by Australia's Adelaide Thunderbirds for the 2019 Super Netball season.
