15-year-old boy ‘drowns at river in Manchester’

A 15-year-old boy from Manchester is suspected to have drowned after he went to a river in the parish with friends on Tuesday, June 2.

The deceased has been identified as Raheem Campbell of Huddersfield district.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that about 1.20 pm, Raheem went to a river with friends and was said to have gotten into difficulties and drowned.

The police were summoned and the body was later removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.

Investigations continue into the development.
